Remake/remodel of The Woman With A Black Heart
March 2009. Scanned inks, some touching up of the heart lines.
"This one is even more minimal than last week's. I want to really test your powers of invention. Jess Nevins, he say: Woman With A Black Heart. This nameless mystery woman appeared in Fun and Fiction and Bullseye in the 1930s. She was beautiful, never revealed her true identity or background, and had a "mystic black heart" tattooed on her forehead. She faced a wide variety of perils and adventures."
Her minimalism (and weirdness for the time) has always fascinated me. This is probably the R/R I was most tempted to pick up and run with.
